About Ed Ley
I help leaders transform their habits so they can perform at their best without burning out.
Why leaders? Because when leadership shifts, entire companies change.
I’ve spent over 20 years studying performance, behaviour and neuroscience. I’ve built businesses, lost businesses, worked with athletes, health professionals and CEOs. I’ve spoken at TEDx on why willpower keeps us stuck, and how habits — not force — create lasting change.
Along the way, I’ve made plenty of mistakes: failing modules at university from overwork and too much booze, losing 70% of my business in 2008, and learning the hard way what burnout feels like. Those experiences drive my work today.
I now live in Copenhagen with my wife and two daughters. I read about 60 books a year (fiction and non-fiction in equal measure) and I’m currently working my way through the Orphan X.
If you’re a leader who knows success isn’t really success if it costs your health, relationships or clarity — then we already have something important in common.
